Winter season is finally here, and when you think about winter, I’m sure that you are thinking of a nice cup of warm tea or coffee that you can drink and enjoy with a nice book or one of your favourite TV shows.

Green Tea

Green tea is said to be a health drink that contains natural compounds which are good for your body, and has a variety of benefits, like reducing inflammation, keeping you calm, and enhancing your immune system.

Tea

Every Mauritian loves to have a nice cup of tea in the morning, but if you are not Mauritian, then it is a must-try drink, and since it’s very cold at night, you may wish to take your tea with some other additions like honey, or cinnamon. Which is good to relieve cough, and help with indigestion.

Turmeric Milk

Turmeric Milk is a drink known to improve your immune system, help with sleep, and reduce inflammation and improve your focus. It is easy to make; all you have to do is boil a cup of milk, add one or two tablespoons of turmeric powder and add some extra spices (Cinnamon, Cloves, and even honey to add some sweetness to your drink). This is optional, of course, and can be added if you like it.

Hot Chocolate

During winter, with all love to cuddle on the couch with a good cup of hot chocolate this drink is appreciated by both adults and kids, the chocolate taste top with some whipped cream is the perfect drink to lift your mood.

Cappuccino

Cappuccino is an Italian caffeinated drink which is best enjoyed with either a sweet or salty pastry. Imagine yourself sipping that hot drink with a good book in your hand, with the crunchiness of your favourite pastry. Sometimes this kind of treat is best enjoyed with your loved ones.
